Wicked it has pockets shirt

I’ve had pairs develop holes. They discontinued the specific boxer briefs I loved. Others I tried, to replace them, seemed cheaper and more flimsy. Or seemed to have weird double thick layered bottom hem. I cannot imagine why anybody would want an extra strip of cloth there that serves no helpful purpose I can imagine. It seems to me it would interfere with a smooth line if you wanted your pants to look good.
