They would bury a fake skeleton. The props department for that series probably has a warehouse full of fake skeletons and bodies which can be cleaned and reused over and over again. Burying a skeleton like that is not a staggering amount of work by film crew standards. Crews typically work 12 hour days six days a week if they’re lucky.
