I’m not so rich that I can have a stupid hobby to help fill the void. Like owning a racehorse or a yacht. Nor do I have staff. My maid comes once a week, so I run errands like dry cleaning/daily chores myself. I don’t really work because my income is passive. I do get lonely, but, I can dull the pain by shopping at exclusive shops like Hermès, lunch at fabulous places and have a glass of champagne with my burrata salad. That works for a little bit, but it’s hedonistic and I’m not really growing as a person. I do have charitable funds that I’ve started, but my involvement in those is minimal.
