Eventually, another vet said the tarter on her teeth could be the reason why I tried to be a Good Girl but then the bonfire was lit and there was Coors Light shirt. On starting the process, the vets discovered a tumor under her tongue that turned out to be cancerous. They could only remove half of it so, of course, it grew back. Four months later, just before Easter last year, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to end her suffering. She was a month shy of her 16th birthday.
