This drum features a seamless 1.2 mm Aluminum shell with an I teabagged your drum set vintage shirt. The 8-lug Steel Mighty Hoops make for a crisp sound with short sustain. The vintage look and sound are reminiscent of the early years of popular aluminum snare drums. I still do not understand why the kicked the Super-Aluminium out of the lineup only to replace it with this one now. The Super-Aluminium was fantastic and sounded better than the new Dry Aluminium IMHO.
