I’d say Elvis has a good chance of being remembered. He was a massive cultural phenomenon, after all, and widely loved up until his death and beyond. However, the problematic nature of Elvis’s rise to fame (his massive fame was the direct result of the racist, segregationist culture of the time) has somewhat marred his reputation among modern audiences, especially among younger listeners. Nevertheless, I think Elvis stands a decent chance of being remembered.
