I eventually realized Introverts don’t avoid interaction like that, they just get worn out by it over time. I began looking further for an explanation of how I am. Before I found out I have Avoidant Personality Disorder. I guess I, as well as many others I’m sure, clung to the idea that I was shy or introverted because those are concepts that are talked about a lot in society.
