Of course Anakin’s true “fall from grace,” the slaughter of Jedi children and trainees he leads, is epic-ly difficult to resolve. That was his own action, made by his own choice, and it takes the next 3 movies (IV - VI) for Vader to redeem himself for this act and many more like it, and to return to some semblance of his true boyhood character.
