These men aren’t going to survive the winter and armies are not going to exist to march south unless they are armies of the dead. Maybe Winterfell turns into Lord of the Flies before the wights attack, but likely the shortage of provisions doesn’t actually even matter that much because of how few people can realistically survive all this. Sansa may be the sharpest tool in the shed, but the proof of her superior mind is not likely to age all that well as she’s missing the forest for the trees.
